Was there a moment that you knew you were going to pursue your talent as your career?

“I wanted to do photography since I was in highschool. I even found a journal assignment from my sophomore year which asked what do you see yourself doing in the future? I wrote being a photographer and it’s happening. I started doing it because I actually was modeling for people and I had all these ideas I wanted to do and no one would do them in the way I pictured them to be, so I just went ahead and bought a camera and did it myself and here we are.

If you could tell yourself a secret at the beginning of your journey, what would it be?

“Nothing has to be perfect. I think everybody should just go ahead and create and not think too much because you never know what the results going to be. My most unplanned photoshoots have been the best ones. You just have to appreciate the whole process of trial and error.”

What’s the last dream you can remember, like literally night sleep dream?

“My last dream that I can remember is that I was pregnant but my body did not change. I looked the same. I just woke up and it was time to go to the hospital and the baby was there and it did not have a name for weeks in the dream…. nightmare -laughs”

Have you ever had a recurring dream?

“Yeah. Scary. I used to get sleep paralysis a lot. The dreams would turn into sleep paralysis so I’d see the figure in my dream and I’d wake up and it’s still there. That happened a lot until we moved out of this one house and it never happened again, so I blame the house. I couldn’t move. I would try to talk and I would just kinda like wiggle my fingers to to wake myself up. I would try to close my eyes to not see the thing. It was usually a black figure, one time it was a cloudy white one and another time it was a watery clear figure. It stood across the room by the door, right next to the bed, one time one of them was literally standing on the bed. Just tall. They had no features. Like a shadowy thing or a slender man type thing but without the suit. No parts or anything and sometimes there’d be a noise like a screech. The recurring dreams are usually scary, not good Oh and teeth falling out.”

Speaking of those, what are your thoughts on extraterrestrial beings? Do you believe in Aliens and do you think they’re here?

“I do. I do believe in them. I don’t know what exactly I believe. I’ve seen so many theories. I’ve seen that sometimes they’re disguising themselves as animals, as normal people walking around and something could just be like a little off. We can’t be the only ones out there. There’s so many different species. I feel like the aliens live in the ocean actually like way in the bottom, all those weird looking fish things that no one has seen.”

What was the last show you went to?

“The last concert I saw was Men I Trust. They were really really good.”

What did you wear?

“What was my outfit? I don’t know but I remember I had a beret on.”

Does music influence your style?

“Music and how I’m feeling dictates my style and little bit and inspires my style. If I’m more in a hip hop/rap mood I dress a little more street. If I’m listening to my cute indie girl music, I dress very quirky main character-ish.”

What music would you relate Ethan to?

“Khruangbin. This line reminds me of Khruangbin which is like my favorite band ever. When I see this (wearing Daryl Dress) I hear their music.

What was the last song you put on?

“I was actually just playing Khruangbin. The Texas moon album, the song “Mariella” I’ve had that on repeat for the past couple days.”
