What was the moment that you knew you were going to pursue your talent as your career?
“The moment that I knew I was going to pursue my career was the moment I knew I was able to, with modeling, acting and creating a brand. It all started with the thought, faith and opportunity that gave me the motivation, creativity and passion to pursue every creative project that I decide to give my heart to.”
If you could tell yourself a secret at the very beginning of your journey, what would it be?
“I would tell myself to always keep going and to get out of my own way, to not let fear creep in and to live in the happiest moments by being fully present because that’s were the magic is made. That the best creations come from the places we least expect it and to always trust my intuition.”
how has fashion connected to your artistry?
“Fashion is everywhere & it’s in everyone. To me fashion isn’t about the garment. It’s about the way one wears it, the way someone can make a piece come to life with their own personal style. Fashion is each and every individual that shares a story. That’s how fashion is connected to my artistry, the way it’s connected/ inspired by people and their individuality.”
What’s your favorite item in your closet?
“My current favorite item and it has been for a while now are my black leather boots. They have a soft square toe, block heel, hit right below the knee and are fitted through the entire calf.”
How do you feel when wearing your favorite item?
“I love them so much! They go with most of my outfits and are super comfortable and classic. I always feel confident and like a bad ass when wearing them ;)”
Do you have a special piece you like to wear while creating?
“This depends on in which form I’m creating. Most of the time I love to be in something comfortable and freeing, like sweatpants and a cropped t-shirt. If i’m creating in the form of modeling I like to be in something that makes me feel sexy & powerful.”
How do you feel once you’ve completed or finished creation?
“Successful. For me it’s always about sticking through from beginning to end and seeing the process along the way, knowing what it took to get there. In any creative form it’s rewarding to see a vision come to life.”
